Find out about worm farming and fertiliser teas. \nWhat you will learn;\nWhy use worm farms?\nWhat are fertilizer teas?\nHow to make and use worm and fertiliser teas. \nThe day will include: \nWhy compost or have a worm farm?\nThe vital role of organic matter\nHow to set up a worm farm\nDifferent methods of composting including fertiliser teas\nHow to maintain your worm farm\nHow to use compost\, castings and worm tea\nProblem solving tips and tricks.\nand tour of the farm (time permitting). \nIn addition\, you will meet a lot of other people who share the same passion of growing organic food in abundance. \nPresenters\nArran Heidemann \nVenue\n Millen Farm\, Blue Building @ Samford Commons \nWhat you need to bring\nWear a hat and flat enclosed shoes. Bring drinking water and sunscreen.
